Radojkovich’s approach to flash fiction is unique. These two YouTube videos are part of a series of filmic flash readings: “The stories unfold like tiny silent movies,” explains Radojkovich. “The core value is the story, so I’ve kept the visuals simple and used three constraints to give the collection a unifying tone–they’re all filmed in a single continuous shot, from behind, walking in bare feet…unless it’s absolutely freezing.” Transatlantic zine The Peripatetic Studio recently published The Roving Eye, an article about Radojkovich’s visual story-telling experiments. Leanne Radojkovich’s flash fiction has appeared in literary journals in the UK, USA and NZ including The London Literary Project, Turbine and Awkword Paper Cut.

Cool way to bring written word to video! Kudos! I loved “Park Bench” in particular for the twist as the narrator fully wakes up from her dream – “Who was I kidding? I’d been listening to myself breathe.”
